The main idea of this deck is for life gain and slowly bleeding your opponent dry. We have many creatures with Extort, as well as many other ways to bleed life off your opponents.
The other concept in this deck is all the spirits that can be generated. This way, you have a flying army of 1/1 tokens (which can be pumped by spells that increase power and toughness for all your creatures during a turn).
